Relationship between writing and speaking??

Many people agreed that "writing goes together with speaking". I partially agree with it. From my point of view, both writing and speaking reflect our opinions. They show the way we think and perceive each situation.

However, when people write, they have time to think before they write. As a result, people might make up their stories or not telling the truth. When people speak, they have little time to think. As a result, they could say something that make them regretted afterwards.

Speaking is the way of commucation I preferred because it happens and finishes fairly quickly. Plus, I don't have to have some equipment for writing such as pen, paper and/or computer.
