On Saturday, I went to Summer Live festival in Stanley park. We enjoyed listening to live music in the park and doing activities in the festival. It was so crowded in the park. We took a free shuttle from Waterfront station to the park. Can you believe? It took almost one hour to get there because of the traffic. After we saw everything in the park, we decided to walk along sea wall back to downtown. On the way back, we saw a man walking with a snake on his neck. I was so freak-out. I think he was not supposed to do that in a public place. Even though he seemed to be familiar with his snake, it didn't guarantee that he could definitely control it. We walked pass him quickly. I almost ran. Once we got to downtown, we went to ramen shop. It was yummy. Then, we went to drink bubble tea.

On Sunday, my Korean friends came to my house. We cooked and drink together. I drank So-Mac(Soju+Macju) again this time. It taste incredibly good. I love eating spicy food! Right now, they just left my house. So I'm doing homework now and I'm going to a movie tonight!

ReplyDeleteChanida, there is a mistake. The caption under the third picture really belongs under the fifth picture! (Of course, the caption also belongs under the picture of each of those young people who are your equals in beauty, which means everyone in our 600W class, except for TP and Chieu. I don't think they would want me to consider them beautiful!)
ReplyDeleteOh dear: sometimes I just get carried away! ;-P
Oh yes: please don't drink too much beer mixed with soju! ;-)
(Note: this comment is the same as the comment I posted and deleted, except that this version contains a correction of a late editorial change which I realized this morning to have been a vocabulary error. The new word is "people" ;-).)
Nice weekend!! I can understand that it is good to have a friend who is from a same country even though you don't speak to his/her in your language.
ReplyDeleteI love Thai food by the way!!
Busy week end, that's good! I can understand that sometimes we need to talk with people of our country, especially when you've been here for one year. I like Thai food too! It lacks that in my homestay ;)
